Rose Hannon grew up in west Texas and now lives in Arkansas. Her passion has been writing and poodles since she was a little girl. Since she and her husband breed, show and raise standard poodles, it is only logical that she combine her passions and write about a poodle. In this eloquently written novel, she allows her own heart to speak to the reader and grabs the reader's heart.

The two dogs sat on the porch in bewilderment. The young pup turned to Agate for comfort but the big poodle was so lonely and miserable himself that he had no comfort to give the pup.
